How to modify your D-Link DWL-G122 Rev C1 wireless USB adapter with an external antenna


This is what you see furthest away from the USB connector if you open the usb device.


Front. The connector used is a standard SMA-connector (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SMA_connector)


Back side. I forgot to take a better picture before i glued it together ;)


Finished results
I dont know if the impedance is right but I get pretty good signal strength with this mod, almost as good as with the D-Link DWL-G520.
